I'm a Systems Design Engineering [SYDE] student @ University of Waterloo with experience in design, product, && shipping code. I've worked in a variety of industries [iGaming, property tech and digital identity], and through it all, I've been deeply motivated by designing elegant solutions to technically complex problems... genuinely. My favorite project to date is a redesign of my colleague's most-hated.

I also care deeply about bringing greater meaning to my work, either by getting lost in the pixels or by working towards causes that I believe in - preferably both. This mindset has carried me through 2+ years of volunteering to create custom tech for nonprofits through UW Blueprint. I've helped ship products for NPOs as a Product Designer, Product Manager, VP Design and most recently, Design Engineer [also, serving a stint as club president in between].

My first love has always been basketball. I may be 5'9 on a good day, but it taught me that every missed opportunity [being cut from the 7th grade roster] is just a fire under your keister to do the work, && keep getting better.

I like intramural sports, bikes, movies and live music. Here are some of my favs: volleyball, baseball, ultimate frisbee; baywheels <3; Past Lives, Eternity, Black Swan; Dave @ Fox Theatre, && Anderson .Paak @ HISTORY.
